From exploring the real universe to wandering through virtual worlds, there’s always something new to discover.
Casual Astronomer is part of the wider Celenic Earth network, and we’re supporting another corner of that community: the Celenic Earth Twitch channel.
Hosted by Celenic Earth CEO Shaun M Jooste, the channel features regular gaming livestreams covering different genres and experiences. Along the way, Shaun chats about his websites, books, businesses and other projects with viewers.
CAS is also proudly represented among the network logos displayed during the streams.
There are plenty of natural connections between astronomy and gaming, too. Space exploration, science fiction, alien worlds, technology and our fascination with what’s beyond Earth have inspired games for decades.
More importantly, Twitch gives our communities somewhere to interact beyond the articles published on our websites.
Our current mission is a little closer to Earth: helping the channel reach 50 average viewers per stream.
